Pick Your Own

Imagine standing in a field of flowers with nature buzzing around you!  Thats the experience we have every day – and we want you to feel it too!

Buy Tickets Here

Our flower fields are open for picking Friday & Sunday mornings (9:00 – noon) and evenings (4:00 – 6:00).  And we add other times depending on the harvest and the weather.

It is possible to drop by –  and you MIGHT get a spot.  But we STRONGLY suggest pre-purchasing tickets.  That way,  especially if you are coming from a distance,  we reserve a spot for you.

How it Works

  • Book your spot – payment at time of booking
  • We email you are reminder the night before or morning of your appointment.
  • You bring pruners or scissors and arrive at your appointed time.
  • We supply you with container(s) and water, and offer a brief picking orientation.
  • You have an hour to wander and pick.
  • When you are finished you take your flowers home (keep the container) and have fun with them.

    How Much Can I Pick?

When you book your picking time, you can choose to pick a bucket of flowers, or a bouquet of flowers.

    • Bucket – we will give you a black florist bucket (like you see in grocery stores with bouquets) with water to pick into. It holds 60-70 stems. We allow 2 pickers over 16 years old per bucket. $60+HST
    • Bouquet – we will give you a large coffee cup sized container to pick into. It holds 25 – 30 stems. One person (over 16 years old) per bouquet cup. $40+HST
    • Children – under 16 years, can accompany the picker(s) at no cost.
    • Site entry fee (for someone not picking flowers) is $40.

    Fine Print

    • Missed appointments are not refunded. (We ususally sell out spots, so if you don’t show up we missed selling that spot to someone else.)
    • A very light drizzle is ok, but if it is pouring with rain, or if there is lightening, WE will cancel your appointment. If we cancel, we will refund you, and you can re-book. We will not automatically book a new time for you.
    • We are a working farm. We are not accessible. You must be stable on your feet and able to walk up and down steep hills. We will deny you access to the site and refund you if we feel you are not stable enough on your feet.
    • If there is someone elderly or in need of assistance with your group, and they can’t handle the hills, there is a small front garden right beside the parking area where they can wander and/or pick pick a bouquet. And we have seating in our flower market (beside the parking) for them to rest and wait.
    • It is quite difficult to push strollers through the gardens. The paths are not nicely grassed like in a botanical garden – best to plan on carrying young children.
    • No pets allowed on the site. We have a shady spot in the driveway where you can tie up a dog if necessary – but best to leave them at home in a place familiar to them.
    • If you are a photogrpher and only want to take pictures (not pick flowers), site entry is $40 for the hour.
    • Bring food or non-alcoholic drinks if you wish – be sure to take your waste with you when you leave.
    • The flowers are quite spread out in the fields. It takes about 20 minutes to walk around the entire site. When your hour is up, we will remind you. Please pay attention to the time as a next group of pickers may be waiting to enter.
    • Feel free to take pictures and/or selfies. Please be aware you are sharing the site with others and avoid catching other people in your frame. Please avoid catching our home in your frame. (We really don’t want our house posted on your feed. But we’d love it if you tagged our farm – @gardenpartyflowerfarm.
    • There is an inside washroom on site. But it is not wheelchair accessible.
